The resistant zone is variability. Loading and unloading trailers — uneven floors, shifted loads, damaged pallets, trailers that aren't quite where the dock plate thinks — remains hard, though trailer-unloading robots are improving. Mixed-case pallets, overheight loads, yard work in weather, and the general job of noticing that something is wrong before it becomes expensive all still favor humans.
